Dad Gift Album
A special thanks to StorkNet member Karen Hamilton (LogansMom) who has shared this adorable scrapbook that she and her son Logan made for Dad.
Supplies Needed:
Directions:
- Pick out different photos that you are going to use. Have your child help you with the choosing.
- Once you select your photos chose a couple of different cardstock colors to go through the album. Red seemed to be a pre-dominant color in most of the photos for the example album, so it worked well.
- Crop each photo to fit the space you need and mount on cardstock.
- Position the mat/photo on the page. Each of the pages has the photo on the right side and on the left side either embellished or journal about the photo with your thoughts/feelings.
Notes:
- Give your child a great big assortment of photos from the beginning of his life rather than give him recent photos of him and Daddy. I wanted to see what my three year old son's favorites were and his thinking behind that (of course, that got pretty funny to hear!)
- After photos were picked, this project took a little over an hour.
- At the end of the book include a pocket page that you can personalize with a conversation that your child has about his Daddy.
