Christmas Ornament Exchange 2002
GINGERBREAD BOYS & GIRLS

Materials:
- Brown felt
- White embroidery floss or yarn
- Needle
- Glue gun
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Decorations: Buttons, Ribbon, Lace, Ribbon flowers, Cloth scraps, fabric paint, etc.
Directions:
- Trace pattern onto the felt [or use your own pattern or large cookie cutters to make snowmen, stockings, etc.]
- Cut 2 pieces out of the brown felt
- Sew mouth on and any other features [eyes, etc. unless your using a glue gun and fabric paint]
- Layer felt, stuffing, felt and sew the front and back together with floss or yarn. You can also sew the 2 pieces together leaving an opening for stuffing, then finish sewing together if you wish a more stuffed piece.
- Decorate with buttons for eyes, fabric paint for mouths [unless you sewed one on], buttons and bow ties on front of boys, lace skirt and head ribbons or flowers for girls. Use whatever you like to personalize each one.
