Christmas Ornament Exchange 2003

Ribbon Angel Ornament

Angel Ribbon Ornament

Supplies needed:

  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Needle
  • Thread
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Hot Glue
  • 2 1/2" Wire Ribbon
  • 1/4" Wire Ribbon
  • Gold Pipe Cleaner
  • Craft/Floral Grapes

Directions:

  1. Cut an 18" and 6" piece of the 2 1/2" Wire Ribbon

  2. Fold 2 1/2" Wire Ribbon pieces accordion style

  3. On 18" piece of Ribbon sew two stitches to gather top of folds together and sew two stitches threw the middle of 6" piece of Ribbon

  4. Cut grapes apart for Angel Heads

  5. Cut and bend gold Pipe Cleaner for halo

  6. Cut two 4" pieces of 1/4" Wire Ribbon, tie one in a bow and other will be used as a hook

  7. Glue gathered end of the 18" - 2 1/2" Wire Ribbon to the middle of the 6" piece of 2 1/2" Wire Ribbon

  8. Glue on head, bow and lope 1/4" Wire Ribbon on back of Angel to form hanger

  9. Open fold to make skirt and arms of Angel
