Christmas Ornament Exchange 2002

COOKIE SHEET ORNAMENT
Submitted by Caryl

Cookie Sheet OrnamentMaterials:

  • Cardboard
  • Aluminum foil
  • Shape punches
  • Brown construction paper or cardstock
  • Colored glues
  • Red or green felt
  • Red or green ribbon
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Masking tape

Directions:

  1. Cut a rectangle from the cardboard and cover it with aluminum foil. This will be your "cookie sheet."

  2. Cut a piece of ribbon to use as the hanger. Tape it to the back of the cookie sheet.

  3. Glue a piece of felt to the back of the cookie sheet.

  4. Make "cookies" using your shape punches, and glue them to the cookie sheet.

  5. Use the colored glues to "frost the cookies."

Tip: You can put little pieces of masking tape on the "cookie sheet" to help the glue to stick the cookies to the sheet more securely.
