Christmas Ornament Exchange 2003
Angel Ornament

Supplies needed:
- White ball ornament 2 5/8"
- 8" round white crocheted doily
- 1 1/2" wooden ball (flat on bottom)
- Flesh colored craft paint
- Ultra fine black permanent marker
- Q-tip
- Blush
- Blonde or strawberry blonde mini curly doll hair (handful)
- 1" sheer colored ribbon
- 3/8" white satin ribbon
- Fused pearls (about 3")
- Hot glue low temperature
- White or gold thread
Directions:
- Paint wooden ball with flesh colored paint and let dry.
- Loop 3/8" white satin ribbon to make hanger and hot glue onto back of head.
- Hot glue curly hair onto wooden ball, covering loop.
- Glue head on top of ornament ball with hot glue.
- Take doily and pinch in center to make wings. Tie with gold or white thread to secure.
- Attach wings to ball ornament below head with hot glue.
- Glue ends of fused pearls to make a circle with hot glue to form halo.
- Attach halo to top of head toward the back. (No need to glue it on sides or front)
Angel's Face:
After angel is put together you may add a face. It actually looks fine without one too.
- With fine tip maker make 2 small dots in the center of face to form nose.
- Add small heart mouth and lines to make smile.
- To make eyes draw a line curved downward and add eyelash lines.
- Add upward curved lines to form eyebrows.
- Dip Q-tip in blush and make cheeks.
