Christmas Ornament Exchange 2002
REINDEER ORNAMENTS

Materials:
- Dark Brown or Tan felt 1 piece
- Dark Brown or Tan pipe cleaner
- Shiny Christmas Ball (glass for adults or plastic for kids) Any Color (I prefer red, gold, green, or blue)
- 10 mm moving eyes
- 1" Dark Brown or Tan Pompon
- 1/2" Dark Brown or Tan Pompon
- 1/4" Dark Brown or Tan Pompon
- Smaller Red Pompon
- Ribbon 3/16" for Rudolph or 2 1/8" tied together for girl Reindeer. Any color.
- Gold Jingle Bell
- Gold glitter squeeze bottle fabric paint
- Pen to write name and/or date on the back
- Hot glue gun
- Card stock or heavy paper
Directions:
- Trace reindeer antlers onto card stock, then on to Dark Brown or Tan felt and Cut Reindeer antlers from pattern.

- Cut pipe cleaner length of antler and hot glue to the back of antler (top to bottom).
- With glitter glue bottle draw a line top to bottom on front of antler (let dry overnight).
- Glue 3 1/2" pompons close together onto the top front of the ball where the hanger is held on, covering the cap.
- Glue 1" pompon to the middle of the front of the ball.
- Glue 1/4" pompon on top of 1" pompon.
- Glue small red pompon on top of 1/4" pompon.
- **For Rudolph glue bow tied from 3/16" ribbon under 1" pompon. Glue jingle bell on top of ribbon.
- **For girl reindeer tie bow out of 2 1/8" pieces of ribbon (together) and glue in between 1/2" pompon on top of ball. Glue jingle bell on top of bow.
- Personalize ornament with Name, Date, or "Merry Christmas!" using pen.
***Note I made these for a Kindergarten Class using plastic balls. They loved them!
