Gingerbread House Contest

Chris & Sheri

Chris made the house. It is completely edible. He made the gingerbread from scratch, as well as the frosting that holds it all together. He used white frosting for the snow on the ground, and on the roof tops, blue frosting for the river, and green frosting for the tree and bush. He used different candies for the fences, and shingles, marshmallows for the snowmen, candycanes, jellybeans, peppermints, gimdrops, etc. He crushed up some lifesavers, and even made stained glass windows! If you look closely, you will even see a tiny pair of red candy snowboots outside the front door. This took him about a week to complete, and two days to eat!!
